Moto Morini 350 Sport

The Moto Morini 350 Sport and 350 Strada were originally launched mid 1974.

The V-twin 350cc engine was considered ground breaking for a motorcycle. The basis of the new design was a 72 degree V-twin with Heron combustion chamber cylinder heads, this being the very first time that such an engine had been used in a production motorcycle.

The Moto Morini 350 Sport had minor cosmetic differences to the Moto Morini 350 Strada, with lower handlebars and more of a "Cafe Racer" look, and of course 4 extra horsepower. Both the 350 Strada and 350 Sport were passionately received by the public, and developed a reputation for both strong reliability and excellent handling.

This particular motorcycle is a 1979 350 Sport model with electric start and has benefitted from a sympathetic restoration. The bike is in absolutely superb condition with an odometer reading of just 14,000kms, and whilst this cannot be guaranteed the motorcycle certainly looks and feels the low mileage.

Some of the works carried out include; Remove Engine and all ancillaries and Shot Blast Frame; Shot Blast and Powder Coat Wheels; Shot Blast and Powder Coat Exhaust System; Cleaning of Carburettors and Air Filters; New Battery; New Engine Oil; New Spark plugs; New Front and Rear Tyres; Change Brake Fluid; Fit new Cam Belt; New Chain; New Handlebars; Rebuilt Front Forks; New Rear Suspension.

Having recently passed its MOT test, this splendid motorcycle keenly awaits its new owner, and really has to be seen to be appreciated.
